2022년 가축개량관련자료 (농식품부, 축산과학원 제작)

2021년 한 해 동안의 가축개량 성과와 그에 따른 경제적 가치, 주요 실적 등을 담은 ‘가축개량관련자료’ 이다. 이 책은 크게 가축개량 총론, 축종별 개량 자료, 기타 개량 자료로 구성되어있다. 가축개량 총괄기관인 축산과학원에서 매년 출간하는 책인데, 유관기관에 나눠주는 물량이 충분치는 않아서 수시로 열어봐야 하는 실무자 입장에서는 한글이나 pdf 파일을 저장하여 활용한다. 본인이 주로 찾아보는 한우와 젖소 축종 이외에 돼지, 닭, 종오리에 대한 개량정보도 함께 들어있어 관련업에 대한 이해를 높이는데 좋은 참고자료로 쓸 수 있겠다.

꾸준히 개정되어 업데이트되고있는 농식품부의 구제역SOP이다. 구제역 SOP에는, 이미 상당히 체계화되어 있기 때문에 이번 개정본은 기존의 SOP를 고도화하고, 그간 놓쳤던 틈새 사항들에 대한 추가 기술사항이 들어있다. 예를 들어 별지 서식에 '살처분 참여자에 대한 심리적,신체적 체크리스트'와 같은 것들이 추가되었고, 상황별, 주체별 행동 지침이 약간 변경되었다. 점차 진화하는 SOP를 보고 있으니 그만큼 업그레이드 된 우리나라 방역 역량이 느껴져 감회가 새롭다.

2020년 상반기 가축전염병 중앙예찰협의회 자료

1년에 두번 업데이트되는, 가축전염병 중앙예찰협의회의 회의 자료다. 상기 회의는 검역본부에서 주관하여 정기적으로 실시하는 회의인데, 각 분야의 전문가로 이루어진 협의회 위원간에 주요 가축전염병의 발생 동향을 공유하고 큰 틀에서 구제역, 고병원성 조류인플루엔자 등 법정가축전염병의 방역대책과 관련한 중요한 사항을 논한다. 이번 회의 자료에는 1. 20년 1분기 가축사육동향 2. 가축질병 발생동향 3. ASF제어 및 예방관리에 대한 특별발표 4. 지자체 및 세계 방역동향 이 들어있다. 여기에서 다루는 가축전염병은 모든 질병을 아우르는 것은 아니고, 법정가축전염병에 국한된다. 따라서 여기 속해 있지 않은 질병에 대해서는 따로 생각하여야 한다.

인공수정을 위한 돼지 정액 : 나흘 안에 사용!

돼지는 주로 인공수정으로 번식하는데, 이때 사용하는 정액의 품질 유지를 위해서는 보관 기간이 중요하다사진과 같이, 자연교배를 한다면 문제되지 않겠지만 인공수정용 정액 희석액을 사용하는 경우, 만든지 4일 이상 경과된 정액은 정자의 활력이 떨어지므로 수태율에 영향을 주게 된다.
